As of 01/11/2019 we have 1015Y Yellow Onions in the ground. Developed by Texas A&M University, these Texas Super Sweet onions are the king of yellows and a staple with any Texas barbecue. This is our first try with onions and I look forward to testing the results with some brisket.
They are planted in a raised bed in three rows. And should be matured in around 110 days, or sometime early May. I look forward to trying them with some brisket after they cure and dry in the sun.
